Dogs in Karura – Update

Due to increasing number of complaints from Karura Forest visitors encountering out-of-control dogs on forest trails, the KFS-FKF Joint Management Committee finds it necessary to introduce addition controls on dogs entering the forest in order to identify and monitor problem animals.

With effect from 7 September 2020, each dog entering the forest will be required to be registered and issued with a uniquely-numbered Dog Tag Card, which the dog owner should carry during each visit to the forest with his or her dog(s).

Download the Dog Tag Registration Form here.

The usual rules of comportment and control shall continue to pertain. Please see the Dog Guidelines here.
